We performed a flash bomb at Strictly Speaking event in Athy. We signed ‘Jailhouse Rock’ in ISL as John Lonergan, former governor of mountjoy prison took to the stage to present his keynote speech “How to be Happy and Content”.

Athy Sign Language Festival
Athy Sing and Sign Club organised a Sign Language Festival in Athy Town, where we had an open air Sing & Sign Along , Story telling for children in Bradburys, ISL tour of Athy Heritage Museum, and we created a beautiful illustrated booklet teaching basic ISL.
Mullacrellan Woods
We performed in the summer and winter solstice walks at Mullacreenlan Woods
1916 Remembrance Service
We performed the Irish National Anthem in Athy Square during one of the 1916 remembrance service
Signs Of Life Exhibition
Athy Sing and Sign put on a performance at the Signs of Life exhibition in Athy ,and in Temple Bar Gallery in Dublin.
Local performances
We went to the Old Folks Nursing Home to perform for the elderly, and also performed for the sisters at the local nuns home
St Patrick's Day Parade
In 2019 we took part in Athy St. Patrick’s Day Parade singing and signing Molly Malone, for which we won a prize for Best U18 Category.
Christmas Mass in Athy
In 2019 We took part at the Christmas Children’s Mass in St Michael’s Church.
Events in Athy
Our members have performed on many occasions at various events in Athy. We have produced Christmas Shows each year for the public - Medley of Christmas songs and Christmas Carols.
We have staged both Mama Mia the Musical and Grease musicals in The Arts Centre in Athy, to name just a few.
